Heavy traffic is expected in New Brunswick this weekend as Rutgers University holds its 248th commencement ceremony.
Drivers should expect heavy delays on College Avenue and George Street in New Brunswick and River Road, Hoes Lane and Metlars Lane in Piscataway, according to the university. The John Lynch and Landing Lane bridges are also expected to experience heavy traffic.
Commencement is scheduled to take place at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at Rutgers’ High Points Solutions Stadium on Busch Campus in Piscataway. It is anticipated to end around 2 p.m.
