Seventeen former Rutgers University football players, all now affiliated with the NFL, will play against New Brunswick community members at the annual Celebrity Basketball Game on March 21 at New Brunswick High School.
Local players will include members of the New Brunswick Fire Department, New Brunswick teachers, and a team from the Special Olympics. They will go against the likes of the McCourty twins, Tiquan Underwood, Antonio Lowry and Kenny Britt.
Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the Hub Teen Center, located at 411 Joyce Kilmer Ave.
All proceeds will benefit the The Hub Teen Center and the New Brunswick Rotary Foundation.

New Brunswick Recreation invites kids to come to Buccleuch Park and hunt for Easter eggs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28. The event is free and open to all families in New Brunswick.
New Brunswick kids between the ages of 3-10 are invited to participate in a Halloween costume parade and decorate mini pumpkins on Thursday, Oct. 30.
All participants should meet at Buccleuch Park Pavilion. Refreshments and treats will be served.
