New Brunswick Fire Department 250th Anniversary Parade and Celebration

The public is invited to a parade and community celebration in honor of the New Brunswick Fire Department’s 250th Anniversary.
The parade will begin at the intersection of Sandford Street and Livingston Avenue and continue to New Brunswick Middle School, 1125 Livingston Ave.
A celebration will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. at Memorial Stadium, located directly behind the middle school. It is free and open to the public.
Sports teams and dance teams, boy and girl scout troops and other community groups are sought to march in the parade. Fire companies from neighboring communities are sought as well.

New Brunswick Fire Department Inspection

The New Brunswick Fire Department’s 250th Anniversary Celebration will begin on October 6 with an inspection of department personnel and equipment conducted by City officials.

The inspection will take place in the Buccleuch Park pavilion. The public is invited to attend.
