Mt. Zion Remsen Baldwin

The City partnered with Mt. Zion Community Development Corporation and Leewood Real Estate Group to develop 36 mixed-income housing units at the intersection of Remsen Avenue and Baldwin Street. Twenty-four (24) of the units were sold at affordable prices ranging from$92,000 to $137,000, while the other 12 units were sold at market prices in the $ $190,000 range. The City assisted the project with HOME and Regional Contribution Agreement (RCA) funds. The new homes replaced an area previously character id by vacant lots and dilapidated buildings
