High School Connector Road

The new New Brunswick High School opened in 2010. The City used CDBG-Recovery Act funds to partially fund a new access road that now connects Van Dyke Avenue to the new high school. This new road provides a safe, walkable pathway for students and others to access the high school from Robeson Village, Hampton Club, Schwartz Homes and Lincoln Gardens neighborhoods. Additionally, the road provides improved access to the residents of the Oliver-Camner neighborhood to the Aldi supermarket, McKinley Elementary School and Alice Jennings Archibald Park.
