The New Brunswick Planning Board will be considering a redevelopment plan for the former Ferren Mall and adjacent properties at the Board’s March 13 meeting. Public comment on the Plan is welcome. A draft of the Plan is AVAILABLE HERE
The Plan proposes mixed-use development for the area, including office, retail and residential uses. It also proposes improvements for pedestrian circulation to improve the walkability of the area, as well as vehicle circulation improvements that will allow more efficient traffic flow to Rt. 27 and Easton Avenue.
