Residents without health insurance for 2018 may take advantage of the coming Open Enrollment period for the Health Insurance Marketplace, slated to open on November 1 and run through December 15, 2017.
The marketplace is intended for residents that do not have health insurance through a job, Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) or another source that provides qualifying health coverage.
The Health Insurance Marketplace is open to all U.S. citizens as well as residents of approved immigration status.
The marketplace offers comparative healthcare plan options from major providers, depending on the needs and size of each applying family or applicant.
