About us:

The New Brunswick Fire Department, Division of Fire Safety in the Authority Having Jurisdiction to enforce the State of New Jersey Uniform Fire Code in all Life Hazard and Non-Life Hazard Use buildings.We conduct Fire Investigations to determine origin and cause of fires that occur within the City of New Brunswick. This Division also conducts Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Compliance Inspections on all One and Two Family homes for sale or lease in the City. Along with this we are also part of the Middlesex County Juvenile Fire Setter Program, for any child that resides in the City of New Brunswick.
