Emmy-winning storyteller and children’s author Bobby Norfolk presents Back to the Books on Tuesday, March 24. He highlights the joy of reading: sparking the imagination, igniting creativity, and honing listening skills through dynamic storytelling. Celebration of Storytelling is open to preschool-aged classes, as well as individuals (appropriate for ages 3 to 5 years old).   Seventeen former Rutgers University football players, all now affiliated with the NFL, will play against New Brunswick community members at the annual Celebrity Basketball Game on March 21 at New Brunswick High School. Local players will include members of the New Brunswick Fire Department, New Brunswick teachers, and a team from the Special Olympics. The New Brunswick Free Public Library Handcrafting Makerspace will be open with an assortment of various equipment and crafts available, including sewing machines, the Silhouette vinyl cutter, button maker and more.
