The New Brunswick Domestic Violence Awareness Coalition and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital invite the community to join them in their annual March Against Domestic Violence, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18 at the First Reformed Church, 9 Bayard St.
The event is being held at the church for the first time in recognition of Dina’s Dwellings, a supportive housing project that broke ground on September 4. The historic sanctuary of the First Reformed Church will be converted into 10 long-term apartment units for women and children moving on from situations of domestic violence.
The march is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is open to all community members.
