Volunteers Sought to Help Keep New Brunswick Clean and Green!

Residents with a desire to help keep their neighborhoods clean and green are sought to participate in New Brunswick’s Clean City Block Captains program.

A meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 28 at the HUB Teen Center, 411 Joyce Kilmer Avenue.

Participants will meet current block captains, learn more about litter reduction and cleanup programs in New Brunswick, register to become a Clean City Block Captain and pick up supplies.

Light refreshments will be served and some free giveaways will be handed out to participants.

All New Brunswick residents that would like to become part of the solution to the litter challenge are encourage to attend!

The City will provide educational material in English and Spanish, bags, gloves, technical support, collection of full bags and tools for active Block Captains.

This program is setting a trend that is catching on throughout the City, come be a part of it!
