Free Book Giveaway

On Thursday, July 17, Unity Square will host a book giveaway for kids’ and teens’ books at the Unity Square Community Center, 81 Remsen Ave. Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula and his team will be there to donate a large number of books that they collected, along with some from Unity Square.

All community members are welcome to stop by and pick up some books, as well as check out what else is going on at the community center this month.

Free ESL classes are held every Wednesday night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Unity Square Community Center, 81 Remsen Ave. They are free and open to the public.

Halloween Week in New Brunswick!

Community Garden Progressive Dinner and Tour

The New Brunswick Community Food Alliance, the New Brunswick Environmental Commission and the New Brunswick Community Garden Coalition will host a tour of the City’s network of community gardens, followed by a meal.

Each stop on the tour will feature an appetizer dish, and will end at Unity Square, where a potluck dinner will be served.
