In a casual format, meet other commissioners who are stewards of our shared water and land.


Program Highlights: 

  • Learn about various projects our networking host, the New Brunswick Environmental Commission, is working on;
  • Featured speaker, Bill Schultz, Raritan Riverkeeper will discuss the importance of water quality and non-point source pollution.
  • Roundtable sharing and sharing of best strategies & projects.
  • Overview of the regional water quality monitoring project for the Lower Raritan.

The Lower Raritan Watershed Watch Announces First Training Event

To encourage greater recreational use of the Raritan, The Lower Raritan Watershed Watch is developing a community-based water quality monitoring system for the Raritan waterway. The results provide water quality information so that residents can make informed decisions about where, when and how they can use the waterway.

New Brunswick, Highland Park and Milltown residents who have an interest in “adopting” a segment of an area stream / tributary for on-going assessments are invited on Saturday, June 21.
