Public Meeting Regarding City Consolidated Action Plan

Notice is hereby given that the City of New Brunswick proposes to reallocate $80,000 of CDBG funds to a replacement activity to be amended to the 2017-2018 Consolidated Action Plan. The City of New Brunswick proposes to reallocate CDBG funds to partially fund a redesign study for Feaster Park.

A public hearing regarding the proposed amendment will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 5 p.m. in Civic Square Building, 25 Kirkpatrick St., 2nd floor.

The proposed amendment will be available November 17, 2017 for review and comment to interested citizens at the following locations during regular office hours:

  1. City of New Brunswick, Dept. of Planning, Community and Economic Development, 25 Kirkpatrick St., 2nd Floor
  2. New Brunswick Public Library- 60 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, N.J.
  3. New Brunswick Housing Authority Administrative Offices, 7 Van Dyke Ave, New Brunswick, N.J.
  4. City Of New Brunswick website

All comments on the proposed amendment must be received by the Department of Planning, Community and Economic Development, in writing, no later than December 16, 2017.

The City of New Brunswick intends to submit this substantial amendment to HUD on or about December 18, 2017.
