Read to “Build a Better World” this Summer with the NBFPL!

Children, teens and adults are invited to “Build a Better World” this summer through the New Brunswick Free Public Library’s summer reading program!

A kickoff event for the program will take place from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at the library. Adults and kids will be able to sign up for summer reading as well as meet Somerset Patriots’ mascot Sparky and participate in a free yoga activity. The first 100 registrants to the program will receive a free summer reading-themed coloring book.

This summer’s program has a bit of a twist in the form of a friendly competition between adults and kids to see who can read more books, with prizes to be awarded to the winners!

A number of events will also be held throughout the summer in conjunction with the program. Please visit the Kids’ Events page for information on childrens’ events and the adult summer reading page for information on adult events.

Anyone who cannot make the kickoff event but would like to participate in the program may stop by the library during regular hours to sign up.
