Alternate Side Parking Now in Effect

The New Brunswick DPW has added a brand-new street sweeper to its fleet for spring 2016 to aid in cleaning New Brunswick's roadways.

Street sweeping and alternate side parking began for the season on Saturday, April 1.

Please check the street signs on your block to find out what hours and days alternate side parking will be in effect in your neighborhood so that our team of street sweepers can best do their job.

Street sweeping and alternate side parking helps get trash, debris and dirt out of the streets so that it does not end up in waterways, a significant source of water pollution in our rivers, streams and lakes. Street sweeping helps keep this debris out of the water and alternate side parking allows the sweeper to get where it needs to go to get the litter.

Please do your part to help keep New Brunswick clean and green by following the posted alternate side parking rules and regulations.
