Residents are invited to bring their dogs and cats with them to a FREE rabies clinic from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 14 at the New Brunswick DPW, located at 400 Jersey Avenue.

Rabies vaccines must be valid through November of 2017, and anyone who needs to update their pet’s vaccinations for the year are welcome to make use of this service.

All pets in the City of New Brunswick must also have up-to-date licenses and it’s time to renew for 2017!

Please click here for a letter from the Health Department detailing the procedure and deadlines for pet license renewal. This same letter has been mailed to all registered pet owners in the City of New Brunswick.

Pet licenses must be renewed by January 31, 2017. Licensing fees are $15.20 for neutered/spayed pets and $18.20 for non-neutered/spayed pets. A $5 fee will be added to all renewals made after February 1. That fee will rise to $10 for renewals made after June 1.
