On Tuesday, Aug. 5, New Brunswick residents, police officers and elected officials will meet and mingle in gatherings around town as part of the City’s annual National Night Out celebration.
National Night Out is a community event that aims to strengthen ties between residents and the local police department in a community setting, as well as take a united stance against crime. Neighborhoods around New Brunswick host a number of gatherings, block parties and barbecues for the event, which usually begins around 5 p.m.
