The Belfast Community Gospel Choir, friends of the City of New Brunswick, filled Rutgers University’s Kirkpatrick Chapel with their brand of gospel music on Friday, May 30.
The choir visited New Brunswick as part of a week-long tour of the New York City area.
Last year, Belfast Mayor Mairtin O Muilleoir invited Mayor Jim Cahill to bring a delegation of leaders in government, the arts, dining and culture to Northern Ireland to discuss similarities between the two cities and possible partnerships.
While in Belfast, the choir welcomed the New Brunswick delegates with a performance, and on May 30, New Brunswick welcomed them here.
