This winter season, New Jersey’s streets have endured more snowy weather than usual. New Brunswick, home to a diverse population of citizens, patients, students and senior citizens, faces a more vital task to clear and maintain the streets.
With this weather, potholes are of major concern and the Department of Public Works (DPW) encourages people to call and report potholes.
The DPW fills potholes throughout the day and explains that this is “the nature of the season.” That being said, the DPW works to not only fill potholes, but also maintain streets in their entirety.
If you have pothole concerns, street services concerns or any questions regarding New Brunswick streets, please call the DPW at (732) 745-5105. Their office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. After hours, if there is an emergency, please call the New Brunswick Police Department at (732) 745-5200.
