Tonight, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the New Brunswick Free Public Library a “Get Covered Community Convention” for health care information will be held to inform and help the uninsured and underinsured.
Through a grant made possible from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, US Veterans are trained in counseling for the Affordable Care Act. If you cannot make tonight’s meeting, feel free to visit 120 Albany Street on the 3rd floor to make appointments, get more details and work with counselors.
“People need access to ongoing medical care,” said Mariam Merced, Director of Community Health Promotions at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH). Therefore, the community is encouraged to ask questions and seek assistance through conventions like tonight’s or by visiting Wellness Plaza where health informational sessions are scheduled regularly.
