Enjoy a fun-filled day of family-friendly entertainment in New Brunswick as the State Theatre presents Family Day, this Monday, Presidents’ Day (February 17). The performances and activities are spread across five venues, the State Theatre, the Hub City Big Top (heated tent), Crossroads Theatre, United Methodist Church, and George Street Playhouse all located in the City’s Cultural Center.
The Hub City Spectacular performance by the Big Apple Circus will begin at 10:30 a.m., with other activities taking place throughout the day. Many events are free of charge. The participation of local organizations such as Elijah’s Promise, the New Brunswick Fire Department, the American Repertory Ballet and the George Street Playhouse makes Family Day a community celebration.
