Affordable Care Act Meeting for New Brunswick Residents

New Brunswick residents interested in learning more about the Affordable Care Act can attend a special information session covering all aspects of the Act on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, in the Auditorium of the New Brunswick Middle School, 1125 Livingston Avenue beginning at 7:00 p.m.

New Brunswick Mayor James Cahill said the City is actively working with Enroll America, a national non-profit organization dedicated to enrolling Americans in healthcare coverage.  Volunteers from Enroll America will provide information on the Affordable Care Act to assist City residents in reviewing the various healthcare plans available to them and how to purchase coverage.  An on-screen presentation by Enroll America will cover all aspects of the healthcare marketplace, including information on the various plans available to individuals and families so they will be better prepared to access information and decide which plan is best for them.

The City of New Brunswick is sponsoring this information session to help residents access the online health insurance marketplaces, made possible by the Affordable Care Act, with the advantage of advance knowledge of what to look for on the site.  People can go to or call 1-800-318-2596 to compare health plans, find out if they are eligible and what health insurance coverage is available to them.
